The tuition fee for an overseas student in the academic program ( grade 7 - 12 ) for one full
school year ( September through June ) is $9720.00. This includes ESL classes which may be required as
part of their studies according to their English ability. Fees must be paid in
full prior to the start of the school year. For the first year an overseas student is at TYS, the tuition fees include mandatory health insurance coverage.
Health
Since the provincial Ontario Health Insurance Program does not insure overseas students
during their time of study in Canada, the school has made arrangements with Liberty Health
to provide health coverage for our overseas students. Hospital and medical expenses are covered
up to the amount normally paid by the provincial health plan. If a student
chooses not to join this school plan, evidence of equivalent medical coverage must be provided to
the school.
