The school attempts to promote traditional Christian virtues integrated into programs in the arts, sciences, physical education, French and all forms of communications skills. Dedicated teachers seek to provide guidance and instill a sense of self worth that are of inestimable value over a lifetime. NTCS still does what many schools have long abandoned. For example, we teach phonics, spelling and grammar, promote love of God, obedience to parents, respect for each other and non-violent solutions to problems.

The school participates in all kinds of activities to challenge the most competitive students. We have cross-country meets, soccer tournaments, baseball, basketball and volleyball tournaments, track and field meets, spelling bees, Spring Fun Fair day, and of course, Christmas programs over the holiday season. The older classes enjoy overnight excursions at the Chandos Outdoor Education Centre.
